How to Grow Your Business Using Instagram Reels
For business owners, Instagram Reels is the best thing to hit the app since they added Stories.
Think of Instagram Reels as 30 second micro-commercials that can be edited together instead of recording in real time like on Stories.
Since Instagram added Reels to their platform (aka their answer to how to compete with Tik-Tok), one of the most frequent questions I get asked from entrepreneurs and small businesses is how can they use Instagram Reels for their business.
My answer is this: Use Instagram Reels as a way to establish yourself as an authority and a leader in your industry.
Sure you can use Reels to showcase your breakfast or lunch or whatever else you feel like showcasing, but I’d recommend using them to educate your followers on what you do.
For example, I would love to do an Instagram Reel about my dogs Honey + Sarge or my relationship with my boyfriend Kurt, but that doesn’t build my business does it? Unfortunately it doesn’t.
As a business owner, your goal should be to create highlight reels that are educational, entertaining, and empowering for your future customers.
